Our Beginning…

A Safeway started out as a dream 1989. John Lazzano the owner/operator of A Safeway, started in the moving business as a helper with a large moving company in Southern Florida. He learned the ropes from the ground up and was soon put in charge of all moving jobs for the company. While on the job, he learned everything there is to know about the moving business but he also saw some things that concerned him. He saw the effects of “Large Company Mentality” and how it effected the attitude and dedication of the employees with regards as to how they handled their customers. John knew the best way to serve a customer was with kindness, patience and most of all, personal attention! This passion for customer service soon let to the family owned and operated moving company called A Safeway Moving & Storage.

A New home in Palm Coast!

A Safeway was brought to Palm Coast, Fl. in 1996 and soon established itself in the community as a business that cares about the “details” and makes sure that Customer Service is a priority in every business decision. The management at Safeway knows that a reputation is built, one satisfied customer at a time. It also knows that it only take one “Unhappy” customer to destroy a reputation entirely. That is why every job is treated with upmost attention and personal service!
